Lisha Ruan
afloat belly-up in a lagoon
eyes following a plane
like a porpoise it glides on
human: lumpy, irregular
a swallow of honey like water
fingers painting abstractly
the surf fills in the blackspace
fast humans. those who win
offer up gold for honey
cool, sweet drinks on the plane
a sweet memory of a son
who had long ago run away
